National Mills Weekend

National Mills Weekend, the second weekend in May, is organised by SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) Wind and Watermill section.

We will be opening the Bridge Mill on the Sunday of that weekend - the 12th May 2024 from 11.00 am to 4 pm. Throughout the day there will be guided mill tours with flour being ground by water power and visitors will be able to take flour home to make some real bread! We look forward to seeing you then.

Guided Mill Tours throughout the day

The 16 acre smallholding will be open for garden, lake, ponds and riverside walks. Come and meet the friendly animals. Wellies might be a good idea if you hope to walk all round!

Bude Choral Society will be holding their annual “mammoth” plant sale throughout the day - lots of plants and lots of bargains so come early for those!

Local craftsmen will be selling and exhibiting and the Lodestone Morris dancers from Tavistock usually join in to make the day go with a swing!

Lots to do and see!

Entrance £5.00, accompanied children free

towards the mill restoration.

Sorry, no dogs except for guide dogs

Bude Choral Society will also be serving teas, yummy cakes and light lunches all day.

We have asked for a fine day but we do have under cover areas should the day be wet!
